No. 8 Wing​

No. 8 Wing is a new training wing of the Royal Brunei Air Force, focused on personnel development through academic courses. The wing's aim is to enhance the skills, knowledge, and leadership capabilities of all ranks within the RBAirF, ensuring the growth and development of both commissioned officers and non-commissioned officers. No. 8 Wing is divided into two squadrons, each with distinct responsibilities:

 

81 Squadron – Officers Development

81 Squadron is dedicated to the professional development of officers. This includes conducting essential promotion courses, which aim to prepare officers for higher leadership roles and responsibilities.


82 Squadron – Career Development for Other Ranks

82 Squadron is responsible for delivering career progression courses for other ranks. These courses are designed to equip personnel with the necessary skills and qualifications required for promotion and career advancement within the Royal Brunei Air Force.
